Plantation women and their livelihood

Tea pluckers

I am the womens wing leader of NUW and member of the provincial council- central province so i have been working with a lot of women for years having understood their plight and problems. The plantation women are relentlessly toiling from morning 4:30 to night 10:30. which detaches them from their own family as they are finding it hard to look after their own children, husband and the society. This work pressure has led them to face a lot of personality disorientations. So i”m looking forward to work with them and create vigilant programmes to provide a better understanding on how to balance their work and family.
